Meet Lady D...

Lady Donika Garner (Lady D) is the daughter of Felecia Vaughn and Donald Harris. She was born and raised in Covington, Louisiana. Lady D married her soul mate, Pastor Arnell L. Garner Sr., in 2006, and together they have four beautiful children.

As the pastor’s wife, Lady D’s mission is to serve and love God’s people as she inspires them to operate in His purpose. She believes that God should be the foundation of all things because with Him, all things are possible. Her favorite scriptures are Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Lady D is an advocate for promoting education and serving at-risk youth. She has served as an English Learning Specialist for SLU TRIO programs, English teacher in Tangipahoa Parish School System, and she currently serves as director of the Quad Area CAA, Inc. WorkReady U- Adult Education Program. Lady D graduated from Covington High School in 1998, received her BA in English with a minor in Administrative Supervision from Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) in December of 2002, and later received her MA in English with a concentration in Language and Literacy from SLU in July of 2011.
